What is Dale’s Raw Foods?

Dale’s Raw Foods is a company founded by Dale Buchanan, owner of Supreme Ultimate Fitness in Boca Raton Florida, that provides raw living food products such as raw protein bars, raw protein powders, raw greens, and raw trail mix. In addition, we also provide information on living a nutritious and healthy lifestyle.  This site will not only allow you to purchase products, you can keep coming back daily to read articles, watch videos, and read our blog.

We are an online only business that ships products only in the United States.  We do not have a retail location or take phone orders at this time. All orders must be processed from this website.

What is RAW food?

Raw foods are living foods that are unprocessed and in their natural state. Examples are fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.   Raw foods may be dehydrated at temperatures below 115 degrees in order to keep the nutritional value and enzymes in the food.  We do not dehydrate our foods. You get all products in it’s most natural form, without removing the high water content of each food.

What is the benefit of eating RAW food?

Everyone can benefit from RAW foods because they are unprocessed and in it’s natural state.  All of the water, vitamins, and minerals are still in the food so they will easily get into your body.

Dales Raw Protein is much better for the body than soy, egg, whey, or casein. I have used protein powders since 1980 and have tried almost every brand. You will not be disappointed by the quality of my foods.

Are your protein bars 100% RAW?

Yes, they are about 100% RAW! 100% VEGAN. About 90% Organic

Are your products certified organic?

They are not certified organic. I do use a few ingredients that are extremely expensive and hard to find organic.  In order to keep the price down, I decided on which ingredients were most important to keep organic. Therefore, at this time, I do not have the ability to put the organic label on my products.

Are your products Vegan?

Yes they are 100% VEGAN.  Please do check out my food labels prior to purchase and email me with any question if you are uncertain.  I do not use any animal products, dairy, or gluten. They are made from nuts, fruit, plant based protein powders, and plant based sweeteners.

Are your protein bars Kosher?

While the list of ingredients would indicate they they could be Kosher, we do not yet have a certification to make such claims.  The process is too complex and costly at this time for our growing business to pursue a Kosher certification but it is something we are considering for the future.

What makes your Protein Bars unique?

1) The main difference is going to be my unique and exclusive protein blend added to the RAW PROTEIN BARS which gives 22g of very high quality plant based protein to each bar. This has never been done before in the RAW VEGAN community. I feel it is is important for people, especially athletes, to consume high quality protein throughout the day for repair and recovery of the broken down body after hard training sessions.

2) The size of my RAW PROTEIN BARS are 65g. Each bar has about 280 calories, 22g protein, 12g fat, and 24g carbohydrates with 14g natural sugar from fruit.  These bars are perfect as a meal replacement, snack, or pre/post workout nutrition.   These macro nutrient ratios have been specifically designed by Dale for optimal energy, strength, and satisfaction.

Will hemp protein cause me to fail drug test?

Your products contain Stevia, isn’t that bad for you?

What is the shelf life on your products?

Dale’s Raw Protein Bars will last 3 months on shelf, 3-6 months in fridge, and 6-9 months when frozen. Dale’s Raw Protein and Dale’s Raw Greens have a 1 yr shelf life.  These are all general guidelines from the date you receive your products.

Why are the protein bars sticky and gooey?

This is a result of the rise in humidity levels during the spring and summer months. We recommend that you refrigerate or freeze your protein bars from April – September for best texture.

Do you have a variety pack of your protein bars?

Due to the way our bars are made and packaged, we do not offer a variety pack. All protein bars are sold by the box of 12. Our most popular flavors are Chocolate Almond Coconut, Blueberry Macadamia, and Low Carb Cafe Mocha.

Do you sell individual protein bars or have samples?

We no longer offer samples of our protein bars due to the high cost of packaging, shipping, and production..

We do not sell our bars individually from our website. We suggest contacting a distributor in your area to see if they have individual bars for sale.  All protein bars are sold by the box of 12. Our most popular flavors are Chocolate Almond Coconut, Blueberry Macadamia, and Low Carb Cafe Mocha.

Where are your products made?

They are made at our own state of the art commercial kitchen and manufacturing facility located in Boca Raton, FL. Our facility is a one of a kind and 100% raw vegan.  We have passed and scored the highest ranks from the Florida Dept of Agriculture as well as have proper licensing and permits to package and ship our products all over the US. You can be assured that each of our products have been through the highest quality manufacturing and testing made possible in the food industry.

Are your products sold in stores?

Some stores are beginning to sell our products, but not many yet. Please check our Where to Buy  page. Remember, you can always order online 24/7 and have the products Shipped to you.

Do you offer coupons or special offers?

Yes, we have frequent coupons, sales and other offers posted on our Special Offers page.  Also be sure to sign up for our newsletter and check out our Facebook page for updates on sales and offers.  Coupon codes should be entered at checkout.

When will my order arrive?

All orders are made after you place the order.  All orders are shipped within 7-10 business days unless something is on back order or we are having a big sale, which could take even longer.  Depending on how many orders we receive during a sale, the shipment of your order could be delayed up 14 days.  Please allow 2 – 5 business days for your order to arrive once it is shipped, depending on how far you live from Boca Raton, FL.  Check your email within a few days after you place your order for UPS or USPS tracking info.

How are orders shipped?

Orders are shipped UPS Ground (3-5 business days). Most orders will arrive within 3-5 business days after they have been shipped, however some may take as long as a week.  All orders will be packaged and shipped from our warehouse in Boca Raton, FL when items are in stock.  Protein bars are made fresh after you place your order.  If there is a back order for anything of more than 5 days,  you will be notified when products are to be shipped.

How much is shipping?

That will depend on how far we have to ship and the total weight of your order. We use UPS Real Time Shipping Calculations and he rate will show up in your shopping cart upon checkout. Most packages shipped will range from $9-15.

Why do you charge so much for shipping?

We actually charge you less than the published rate of shipping through UPS. See for yourself using the link below.

NOTE: 1 box of protein bars is about 2 lbs plus you need to add packing material and box.

Can I ask for faster shipping?

At this time we only offer UPS ground shipping.  We are looking at adding faster shipping options in the future

Can you ship to Canada or other countries?

Because our raw protein bars are considered perishable foods, we are not able to ship them out of the USA.  Our powders and superfoods are currently under review for international shipping.

Can you ship to Military APO address?

We are not able to ship to APO because we have no way to track the package once it gets to the APO and we need to be able to track all packages to each customer in order to provide the highest level of customer service.

I live in South FL, can I come by your office and pick up my products?

This is not possible for the following reasons:

1. We are licensed as a manufacturing facility, not a retail store.
2. Due to our business license and insurance we are unable to allow for that by law, we are not issued as a retail “walk in” location.
3. We do not stock our products, only the raw ingredients.  Each order you place is made after it has been processed.
4. All orders must be processed through the website using our online shopping cart and shipped to you.

Where is my package?

Check your email for the tracking info from UPS.  If you did not receive that email let me know I can forward you the tracking info.  The most common reason for not receiving your packing is that you had the incorrect address on your order.  When you have your tracking number, be sure to check with you UPS to see where the package may be, likely in their warehouse waiting for pick up. If you still have problems with receiving your package please email me so I can assist.

What is the hard nut I found in my protein bar?

Occasionally there might be a pit (from the dates) in your protein bar. Do not try to eat the pit, it is virtually indestructible and could cause damage to a tooth. Since the date companies who supply us with our dates do not guarantee 100% pit-free product, we can’t either. We can not be responsible for date pits that end up in the food bars and any damage they may cause to your teeth, mouth, or body.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on any “non-sale”, unopened product.  If you are not satisfied with the products, we will be glad to refund you your money on unopened product minus the shipping cost within 30 days of purchase.  Sale items are non-refundable.

To receive a refund on non-sale items you will need to call our office for return authorization code (RAC) and instructions. Returned orders without a RAC will not be refunded.

Note: You are responsible for reading all ingredients and nutritional values of each product prior to purchasing, they are all listed on the website for your review.  We do not offer refunds for failure to review these facts prior to ordering.
